David started his career in 1985 after graduating college from ETSU as an insurance claims adjuster. In 1987 David became a Nationwide Insurance Agent. He remained a Nationwide Agent until 1998 when he opened his Independent Insurance Agency, Peake Insurance. Erie Insurance has been his primary carrier since that time along with several other carriers such as, Safeco, Celina and many more.
David has been married to his wife, Dana, for 27+ years. Together they have a son Dawson, who is a Junior at Greeneville High School and a daughter, Phebe, and son in law Brad Starkey. The Starkey’s are pursuing their careers and currently residing in Knoxville.
David enjoys all types outdoor activities and Greeneville High School Football.
